Q1: What is the Keleday brand?
A: Founded in 1987, Keleday specializes in the manufacture and distribution of cast iron cookware, enameled cookware, outdoor grilling equipment, and patio and garden supplies. We are committed to providing durable, beautiful, and high-performance kitchen and grilling products to families and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.
Q2: What are the characteristics of Keleday pans?
A: Made of high-density cast iron, it conducts heat evenly and retains heat well.
The enameled pans are corrosion-resistant, rust-proof, and easy to clean.
They can be used on gas stoves, induction cooktops, ovens, and open flames.
They are suitable for a variety of cooking methods, including frying, baking, stewing, braising, and roasting.
Q3: Do Keleday products have a non-stick coating?
A: Some of our products are seasoned with natural vegetable oils to create a natural non-stick coating. Our enameled pans feature a smooth enamel coating that provides excellent non-stick properties and are easy to clean.
Q4: What should I do if my pans rust due to improper care?
A: If rust appears on the surface of a cast iron pan, it can be easily restored by following these steps:
🧽 Step 1: Rust Removal
Gently scrub the rusted area with fine sandpaper, steel wool, or a stiff-bristle brush.
For heavier rust, scrub with coarse salt and a small amount of oil.
💦 Step 2: Cleaning and Drying
Rinse thoroughly with warm water and dry thoroughly.
Heat the pan over low heat for a few minutes to ensure no moisture remains inside.
🥄 Step 3: Reopening the Pan (Restore the Protective Layer)
Evenly coat the inside of the pan with vegetable oil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour.
Remove the pan, cool, and wipe off any excess oil.
Once completed, the pan's natural protective film will have formed again, restoring its rust-proof and non-stick properties.
✅ Recommendations:
Keep the pan dry and lightly oil it after each use;
Avoid soaking it for extended periods;
Store in a well-ventilated, dry place to keep it looking like new for a long time.
Q5: How should I clean and care for my cast iron pan?
A: After cooking, clean the pot while it's still warm with a soft brush or coarse salt. Avoid using harsh detergents.
After cleaning, dry the pot immediately and apply a layer of vegetable oil to prevent rust.
If the oil film is damaged, re-open the pot.
Prolonged soaking or dishwasher cleaning is not recommended.
Q6: Is Keleday environmentally friendly?
A: We adhere to the "sustainable manufacturing" philosophy:
Use recycled cast iron;
Use environmentally friendly enamel coating that contains no harmful metals;
Reduce plastic packaging;
Strictly control energy and wastewater emissions during the production process.
